SUSSEX LANDSCAPE
A beautiful Summers day, the air still and warm. A field full of wild flowers of all shapes and colours, butterflies flitting everywhere a delight to behold and one which brings joy to the heart. Beachy Head
Beachy Head Sussex. Low tide, the cliffs rise about 500 feet above the beach. I have flown a light aircraft around this area and circled over my Mother in laws house in Seaford, much to her amazement and surprise! In artist's private collection.
Bramber and Castle Ruins

Firle
Firle Beacon in late summer. I particularly enjoy this area of my home county, having run and walked here for many years. The view changes so much throughout the seasons, but my fondest memory is of the warm days of summer spent walking with my wonderful wife and sons around this beautiful countryside. Watching the Gulls
A fisherman's wife takes part of the day's catch back home in a basket for the family meal. She pauses to watch the seagulls overhead, all of them trying to claim the scraps from the fishing nets below the cliff on which she stands. The artist has lived very close to the sea all his life and only has to look at this scene to hear the cries of the gulls soaring overhead, smell the fresh air and feel the sea breeze.
